CAN'T WAIT! (Bart Scott Voice)

Pacquiao Vs Mayweather Anybody?
Mark your calenders for May 5th, 2012 as World Welterweight Champion Flyod Mayweather Jr. and Welterweight World Champion (Super Champion) Manny Pacquiao are set to square off in perhaps the most anticipated fight in the world.

Floyd Mayweather is a perfect 42-0-0 in his Boxing career, but many have claimed Mayweather has been scared to fight Pacquiao in the chance of him losing his perfect record. While on the other side you have Manny Pacquiao (Pacman) who is 53-3-2 through out his boxing career.

The last two times the boxers have been set to square off the fights have been canceled. On January 7th, 2010 Pacquiaos promoter called the fight off due to a disagreement on both sides about a drug testing policy. Mayweather had agreed to a 14 day window before fight day to have the testing done. While Pacquiao was set on a 24 day window. Pacquiao had claimed that drug testing closer to fight day would weaken him he also added that he has a fear of needles.

On June 30th 2010 the management of both sides had agreed on yet another fight date, and all terms had been settled (including the fact that Pacquiao would agree to a drug test.) Alls that was needed was Mayweathers signature, and Mayweather had a two week deadline to sign the contract, and seal the deal of a fight happening between the two. On the last day of the deadline a highly ranked website had posted a countdown clock titled "Money" Time: Mayweather's Decision. The countdown clock had expired and Mayweather had not signed the contract. Yet again another failed attempt at America watching two of the worlds best go at it. Since then Critcs have claimed that Mayweather has been scared to fight Pacquiao, because he doesn't want to lose his perfect record. Mayweather is looking to silence his critics this time around. Mayweathers advisor (Leonard Ellerbe) told ESPN.com "We're looking to make the biggest fight possible and everyone knows what that fight is, the little fella," Ellerbe also said "In order to maximize the exposure," you want to plan as far in advance as you can to make your event as big as possible. We have secured 5 May at the MGM."

Everyone may still be a little skeptical of what is really going to happen between the two fighters. Will they fight? What excuse could be used this time?  But as of now all's we can do is wait and see. If the fight does go through it will be in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, and you can bet the fight will be on pay per view. As long as both sides hold their agreement this fight could be the most watched fight in WBC history.

The Best Rivalry In The NFL

Throughout the past five and six seasons The Pittsburgh Steelers Baltimore Ravens rivalry has established itself as the best in the NFL. Since 2006 the Steelers have gotten the upper hand out dueling Baltimore 7-6 throughout the past 5 years including knocking Baltimore out of the playoffs twice, and Since Baltimore's entrance to the NFL in 1996 Pittsburgh has a 21-13 series advantage. But what is it that makes this rivalry so special?

Over the years both teams have been surrounded by a cornucopia of talent on the defensive side of the ball. For the Steelers its been players like Lamar Woodley, Casey Hampton, James Harrison,  and that guy with the hair that always seems to make the game winning play Troy Polamalu! For the Ravens you have Haloti Ngata, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, and arguably the greatest middle linebacker of all time Ray Lewis! Those are just some of the defensive players on both teams, and potentially we are looking at eight future hall of famers between these two teams (and that's just on the defensive side of the ball.) The Impact these players have on their team, the physicality they bring to their team its reasons like this which is why this is the best rivalry in pro sports let alone the NFL.

This Sunday's game will mark the 13th time the teams have meet since 2006. Baltimore will come in 5-2, they have the best defense in the league, and are coming of their biggest comeback win in franchise history (21 points.) After a Ravens 35-7 week one win in Baltimore critics started calling the Steelers defense old saying they couldn't get it done anymore their reign was over, they were to slow etc. People weren't used to seeing things like this from this match up. The Ravens forced seven turnovers, and had their defense looking just where they wanted it to be. The offense even looked sharp as Joe Flacco tossed 3 touchdowns, and Ray Rice ran for 107 yards. But week one Baltimore just hasn't looked the same Flacco's completion percentage, and quarterback rating has plummeted. Ray Rices carries has dropped, many Ravens fans are calling for offensive coordinator Cam Cameron's head, and even questioning Joe Flacco as the starter. Baltimore has still managed to be amongst the top in the AFC, and many are comparing this years defense to the one back in 2000 which was the Ravens first, and only Superbowl year.

As a Raven fan myself I have seen great things out of Joe Flacco both in his past and this year. He has the ability to make every throw anytime and anywhere. But Flacco and Cameron just aren't clicking, and theres no balance within the offense. It's either Pass, Pass, Pass, Pass, Pass, or Run, Run, Pass, Pass, Pass, Pass. Bottom line Cam likes to Pass, and when you have Ray Rice that doesn't sit with fans to well. Flacco has been a Raven for four years now and hardly has any control of the offense i think if he went more no huddle and called his own plays more often he would show alot more consistency. If that is the case then you can't just blame it all on Cam, Flacco and/or John Harbaugh need to speak up, and either send Cam Cameron packing or give Joe more control of the offense. This game is without a doubt the biggest game of the season for both teams, and if the Ravens want to be the best in the AFC they need to beat Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will come into Sunday's match up at 6-2, with the leagues second ranked defense, and after beating the Patriots at Heinz Field last week Pittsburgh is being considered the best in the AFC. The Steelers are a half game above the Ravens in the division and with a win would take a full game lead, and would split the season series with Baltimore. Nobody is expecting the blowout that was week one as Pittsburgh has gotten back on track winning their last four games. Ben Roethlisberger comes in to Sundays game fifth in the league in passing yards, with 14 passing TD's and a 95.7 passer rating. He's off to one of the best starts hes ever had in his career, and is looking for redemption. Pittsburgh's Mike Wallace has been labeled as one of the fastest players in the NFL, and is 4th in the league with 800 reception yards.

The Steelers will reportedly be without defensive studs Lamar Woodley, and James Harrison, but they have not officially been ruled out yet, and even so it doesn't seem to matter to much as they beat a great New England Patriots team without them. Even if these guys don't play Pittsburgh is still in the favorite to win on their own turf. Nobody knows exactly whats going to happen Sunday, but what we do know is it will be a very physical match up, and a hell of a game.

Week 9 NFL Scores & Predictions

New York Jets @ Buffalo:  Buffalo is for real this year & the Jets have Mark Sanchez at quarterback, Fred Jackson goes for 100 yards while Ryan Fitzpatrick throws two TD passes. I like the Bills 24-17 (Fred Jackson goes for 100 yards)

Seattle @ Dallas:  Seattle's a better team then people give them credit for, they just have no stability at quarterback. Seattle will put up a fight, but Dallas gets it done 28-21

Cleveland @ Houston:  Houston's going to have to wait at least one more week for Andre Johnson to return. The Browns are surprising everybody at 3-3, and have the 4th ranked defense in the league :O. However I like Houston in this match up Texans win 28-25 (OT)

Atlanta @ Indianapolis:  Atlanta has started off slowly, and I think they will bounce back. This is the perfect week to do it as they play the 0-8 Peyton-less Colts. Matt Ryan throws for 300 yards and Falcons win 35-7

Miami @ Kansas City:  Kansas City has won 4 straight, and are looking like the team they were last year. Cassel to Bowe is on of the best QB-WR tandems in the NFL. I like the Chiefs to win it 35-28.

Tampa Bay @ New Orleans:  Tampa Bay surprised everyone, and won last time both teams met. The Saints are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Rams, and are going to smash the Bucs 37-16

San Francisco @ Washington:  I look for Washington to put up a fight after John Beck gets benched the second half, but the 49ers are for real. San Fran wins it 17-14 (OT).

Denver @ Oakland: Game Of The Week! Could this be Tim Tebows last start as a Bronco? Well its Carson Palmers first start as a Raider. Tebows going into the black hole, and I'm not so certain hes coming out. Raiders win it 16-10

Cincinnati @ Tennessee:  Andy Dalton is playing just as good as Cam Newton. The rookie phenom has the Bengals at 5-2, and Cincinnati has a 5-2 record. wait Cincinnati? unfortunately they win it, and keep a tight race within the AFC North 21-20

St. Louis @ Arizona:  I predicted Rams backup QB A.J. Feely would perform well as a starter, after a 31-21 win over the Saints last week i don't think the Rams look back. Kevin Kolb is out and the Cards are going to have to go with John Skelton? Yea give me the Rams 34-15

New York Giants @ New England:  Game Of The Week! Superbowl 42 rematch! Giants are a good road time and Eli is playing like he should. I think New Englands got them they never lose 2 straight. Pats win it 25-14

Green Bay @ San Diego:  Phillip Rivers choked harder than Tony Romo ever has last week, and i think it's going to cost the Chargers a playoff spot. That comes in to effect this game, and...well their Playing the defending champs. Packers win 27-21

SNF Baltimore @ Pittsburgh: Game Of The Week! I've said enough about this game already^^^^. My gut feeling isn't good, but the Ravens are gonna come ready, and sweep Pittsburgh 24-14 (14 if their lucky)

MNF Chicago @ Philadelphia:  Game Of The Week! As Deon Sanders would say..and probably is saying "PAY DA MAN" Matt Forte has been almost 50% of the bears offense, and is in the early conversation for the NFL MVP. The Eagles are playing great too, and are looking like the team everybody thought they were going to be. The Bears play great on Monday Night Football so i give them the edge. gonna be a great game though. Bears win 28-24
